How do I add a Home Screen widget?

Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit in the top-left, then Add Widget. Search “Tockwell”, pick a style (Dark, Light, Glass, or Custom) and a size, and tap Add Widget. Touch and hold the placed widget → Edit Widget to choose its city.

How do I add a Lock Screen widget?

Touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize → Lock Screen, tap a slot above or below the clock, then search “Tockwell” and pick a size. Lock Screen sizes come from the Tockwell — Dark widget.

My alarm didn’t ring.

Alarms need permission. Open iOS Settings → Tockwell → Alarms and turn them on. Tockwell’s alarms use AlarmKit, so once allowed they ring through Silent mode and Focus.

I travelled and the time looks wrong.

The clock marked with a location pin follows your device’s time zone, which iOS updates by location when Set Automatically is on. Turn on Name It After My Location (Settings → Local Clock, or touch and hold the clock → Call It…) and Tockwell names it after the nearest city, anywhere in the world, from a one-time location check that stays on your device. With that off, the clock honestly says Local Time rather than guessing. You can also pick any city in your zone or type your own name; Tockwell remembers it per zone. Cities you added stay on their own zones. To pin the local clock to a zone instead, choose Lock.

Can I use an analog clock?

Yes. In Settings → Theme & Colors → Clock Face, choose Analog. The same themes and colors apply, and you can color the hour, minute and second hands and the dial marks under Custom Colors. Nightstand can keep its own face (Settings → Display → Nightstand Face).

How do I use Nightstand?

Tap the moon button on the Clock tab. Use the controls to switch Dim, Bright, Warm, and Analog/Digital. Tap anywhere to show or hide the controls; the screen stays awake while Nightstand is open.

Where is my data?

On your device only. Tockwell has no account, no cloud sync and no analytics, so there is nothing to sign in to, nothing to reset and nothing to delete beyond removing the app.

How do I get a refund or restore my purchase?

Tockwell is a one-time App Store purchase. Download it again from the App Store with the same Apple Account at no extra cost, and use it on your other iPhones and iPads with that account or Family Sharing. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
