Compatibility

Tockwell runs on the last three iOS releases — iOS 18, 26 and 27 — and adapts to every iPhone screen, including iPhone Duo folded and unfolded. Alarms use AlarmKit, which needs iOS 26 or later.

Devices

  • Requires iOS 18 / iPadOS 18 or later — the last three releases (iOS 18, 26 and 27) are supported.
  • Alarms need iOS 26 or later. They use Apple's AlarmKit so they ring through Silent and Focus. On iOS 18 the Alarms tab explains this; clocks, cities, widgets and Nightstand all work.
  • Every iPhone that runs iOS 18 (iPhone XS / XR and later) is supported, and every iPhone from 2023 to today — iPhone 15, 16, 17, 18 and iPhone Duo — gets every feature.
  • iPhone Duo: layouts follow the space available, so Tockwell fills the 7.6-inch inner display when unfolded and the 5.4-inch outer display when closed, in any orientation.
  • Every iPad that runs iPadOS 18 is supported (iPad 7th gen / Air 3 / mini 5 / Pro 2018 and later).
  • Universal binary — one app, optimized for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad.
